ITINERARY Day 1: Hurghada–Giza Pyramids Hotel pick-up and transfer to Giza Plateau. Explore the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, as well as the Great Sphinx statue and the Valley Temple. Visit the Egyptian Museum to see the treasures of Tutankhamen and Pharaonic artifacts.
Optional Sound & Light Show.
Day 2: Cairo Sites & Markets–Hurghada After breakfast, visit the Citadel of Saladin and Mohamed Ali’s Ottoman-style Alabaster Mosque. Move on to Babylon’s Fortress to visit St Sergio’s Church; the Suspended church, which is rich in antiquities from the early Christian era; and St. Barbara’s Church, where the relics of Saint John are preserved. Then visit Khan el Khalili, the famous Cairo Bazaars and lively Open Market, dating back to the 14th century.
Return to Hurghada.
